Key Qualifications:
- Meet one of the following:
• Completion of two years of college credits through an accredited institution
• Possession of an associate degree or higher
• Passing score on an approved formal academic assessment
• Demonstrated mastery of the competencies listed in the MDE-approved grid - Previous experience working with children or as a paraprofessional is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships
- Resourcefulness, reliability, and enthusiasm for supporting student development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 assistance to a student in the MAPD Program
- Support classroom activities and monitor student engagement
- Aid with transitions between classes and supervise lunchtime interactions
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to reinforce a positive and inclusive learning environment
