In this contract-based role, you’ll work approximately 32.5 hours per week, collaborating with teachers and staff to support diverse student needs across a variety of classroom environments. Desired Qualifications:

  • Meet “highly qualified para” requirements
  • Successfully completed at least two years (60 semester credits or equivalent) of college coursework from an accredited institution OR
  • Hold an associate degree or higher OR
  • Passed a formal assessment such as the Parapro Test or approved Competency Grid
  • Flexible and enthusiastic about working with students of all ages
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and ready to support classroom learning objectives

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and instructional support
  • Provide guided, individualized support to students requiring additional help
  • Help manage classroom behavior and promote a positive and inclusive environment
  • Foster student engagement and independence
  • Support the implementation of lesson plans and adapt to various learning styles
  • Perform routine administrative and organizational tasks as assigned
