Position Details

• Schedule: Full-time

• Setting: Onsite

• Student Support: May include a 1:1 assignment or small classroom support based on district needs.

• Duration: Immediate opening with the potential to continue into the next school year.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in the classroom.

• Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and student engagement.

• Support students with academic, social, and behavioral goals.

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.

• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

• Assist with data collection and documentation as directed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.

• Experience supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges is preferred.

• PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) experience or training is highly preferred, but not required.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
