Bring your passion for supporting students to a dynamic contract opportunity as an onsite facilitator for virtual speech-language services within an elementary school setting. In this role, you’ll directly empower K-5th grade students identified with speech or communication disorders, serving as the onsite liaison during their virtual therapy sessions. Work closely with clinicians, providing essential assistance and communication, while helping bridge the gap between in-person learning and remote service delivery.

This position is based at a single elementary school, with an immediate start and continues through May of the next academic year. Enjoy a structured, weekday schedule totaling 35 hours a week.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience as a school paraprofessional, particularly in elementary settings
• Comfort working with technology, including virtual platforms/workstations
• Strong communication skills and ability to clearly relay information between students, families, and clinicians
• Patience, adaptability, and a student-centered approach
• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with virtual providers (SLP, Psychologists)
• Willingness to learn: onsite training provided if you’re new to virtual facilitation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Facilitate delivery of teletherapy speech sessions for approximately 33 K-5 students
• Assist and support students during remote sessions, ensuring engagement and participation
• Act as the “hands and feet” for remote clinicians, helping implement therapy activities and managing materials as needed
• Serve as the on-site communication bridge, keeping all parties informed
• Troubleshoot basic technology issues to ensure smooth session delivery
