Instructional Aide - Spring Grove, PA

Support the academic and personal growth of high school students by working as a paraprofessional in a life skills classroom in a welcoming school environment. This rewarding contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, with a start date as soon as possible and continuing through late May 2027. This paraprofessional position is not tied to individual student support (not 1:1) and offers consistent daytime hours, Monday through Friday.

Key Qualifications:

• At least one year of paraprofessional experience, preferably within school settings
• Paraprofessional certification, or willingness to obtain certification within 60 days (required if lacking 48+ college credits or an associate’s degree or higher)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in students’ lives
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Your Role Will Include:

• Collaborating with classroom teachers and staff to deliver quality instruction to high school students in a life skills classroom
• Providing support to students with varied learning and personal needs, encouraging independence and academic engagement
• Assisting with classroom activities, lesson preparation, and classroom management
• Helping reinforce life skills and fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere
