Make a meaningful impact in a school setting by supporting students’ behavioral and academic growth. Multiple openings are available for skilled individuals passionate about shaping positive student experiences as Paraprofessionals, Behavior Support Providers, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). You’ll be a key contributor as the district launches innovative pilot projects as part of a progressive behavior program entering an exciting phase of renewal. Work closely with a newly appointed district BCBA overseeing the overall program; for RBTs, external BCBA supervision is preferred.

Available positions span elementary, middle, and high school levels, with full-time roles from late August through mid-June for a contract that aligns well with the academic year. Weekly hours range from 35 to 37.5, providing consistency and a structured workday environment.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Experience as a paraprofessional, RBT, or ABA provider in an educational, behavioral, or related care setting
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
  • Familiarity with implementing behavior intervention plans
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for contributing to new pilot initiatives and positive change
  • Ability to build rapport with students of varying ages and needs
  • For RBTs, preference is given to candidates able to coordinate with external BCBA supervision

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with students, providing behavioral and academic support tailored to their unique profiles
  • Assist with implementing individualized education or behavior intervention plans under supervision of BCBA
  • Encourage student engagement and model positive social behaviors
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation on student progress
  • Cooperate closely with teaching staff, school leadership, and families for optimal student outcomes
