Instructional Assistant - Stone Mountain, Georgia

Step into a full-time paraprofessional role supporting a middle school student in a vibrant educational environment near Stone Mountain, GA. As an essential part of the school day, you will work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, helping one student maximize their learning and growth throughout the academic year. Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support position preferred
• Familiarity with middle school-aged children and their unique developmental needs
• Ability to implement individualized educational strategies and behavior support
• Patience, adaptability, and a strong sense of empathy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or child development is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to a designated middle school student throughout the school day
• Assist with classroom participation, organization, and task completion
• Support academic, social, and emotional development in alignment with the student's individualized plan
