Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or in a similar support capacity strongly preferred
• Ability to build rapport with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds
• Skilled in following lesson plans and educator instructions, providing one-on-one or small group support
• Patient, adaptable, and proactive in responding to classroom needs
• Effective communicator with students, teachers, and other school staff
• Willingness to assist in a variety of classroom settings and support both academic and behavioral development

Role Responsibilities:

• Work side-by-side with teachers to deliver instructional and behavioral support for students
• Foster a safe, encouraging, and respectful classroom climate
• Provide small group or individual assistance to students who need extra help
• Help implement classroom activities, monitor student progress, and assist with record-keeping
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, or recess as directed
• Support students with special needs per their individual plans, ensuring accessibility and engagement
