Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within school environments
• Understanding of preschool-age children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs
• Ability to assist with classroom management and instructional activities
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, students, and families
• Reliable, patient, and adaptable approach to working with young children
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to preschool students, individually and in small groups
• Assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and activities
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages active learning
• Help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) when needed
• Supervise students to ensure safety and encourage positive interactions
• Support classroom routines and transitions throughout the school day
• Communicate observations and student progress to teaching staff as appropriate
