Make a positive impact in an academic setting by supporting students as a Paraprofessional. This contract opportunity runs from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027, following a traditional Monday through Friday schedule with set daytime hours. You’ll work closely with a small group of students who have individualized education programs (IEPs), providing both academic support and personal care within a general education environment.

Your commitment, compassion, and adaptability will ensure all students have the resources and assistance they need to thrive each day.

What You’ll Bring:
• Experience working as a paraprofessional, particularly within schools
• Flexibility and willingness to assist students with toileting and personal care needs
• Understanding of special education and supporting IEP accommodations
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families
• Reliability and punctuality in a school setting
• Ability to provide individualized academic support while fostering independence

Primary Responsibilities:
• Offer hands-on support to students in academics and daily routines
• Provide personal care, including toileting and hygiene assistance when needed
• Help integrate students with IEPs into general classroom activities
• Foster a supportive, respectful, and inclusive environment
• Document student progress and communicate effectively with educational staff
• Maintain confidentiality and promote students’ dignity and autonomy
