Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a related educational support role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop positive relationships with students and staff
• Ability to follow teacher directions and support individualized instruction plans
• Patience, flexibility, and compassion for working with diverse learners
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant education or certifications preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Work under the guidance of classroom teachers to provide instructional support to students
• Assist individual students or small groups with lessons, activities, and assignments
• Help implement behavior management strategies and support students’ social-emotional growth
• Adapt classroom materials or assistive technology to accommodate various learning needs
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and organized classroom atmosphere
• Supervise students during classroom transitions, lunch, and recess as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
