Soliant is seeking a caring and dependable Paraprofessional to support students in a school setting for academic, behavioral, and physical needs. Candidate must be willing and comfortable with bathroom and toileting needs for students.
Location: Taylor, MI
Job Type: Full-Time | Full School Year
Hours: 35 Hours/Week
Pay: $18-22/hr depending upon experience
Responsibilities
- Provide student support for students across Pk-12th grade.
- Assist with classroom instruction and activities.
- Implement behavior support and instructional plans.
- Support students during school activities.
- Monitor student progress and communicate with teachers.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom.
Qualifications
- Complete at least two years of study at an accredited institution of high education (equal to 60 semester hours) OR
- Obtain an associates degree (or higher) from an accredited institution OR
- Have passed the ETA Parapro Assessment (460 score required) or College Board SAT (480 on evidence-based reading and writing and a 530 on math score required)
