Instructional Assistant - Telluride, CO

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or teacher’s aide in a school setting preferred

• Capable of following teacher instructions and supporting individualized learning plans
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in education or child development is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to teachers in general education or special education classrooms
• Assist students with assignments, activities, and transitions throughout the school day
• Implement instructional strategies under teacher guidance
• Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment
• Help manage classroom behavior and facilitate social development
• Support students with special needs, including personal care if required
• Participate in team meetings and contribute observations related to student progress
