Teacher's Aide - Tempe, Arizona

You’ll provide specialized classroom support, focusing your skills and experience on behavior management while working closely with teachers and students. The assignment is 32.5 hours per week, structured within the school-day schedule, for the entire academic year.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Direct experience working with student behavior in a school setting
• Experience supporting high school-aged students
• Active IVP Fingerprint Card (required)
• CPR and Crisis Prevention Training (preferred; can be scheduled if needed)
• Previous paraprofessional experience and valid credentialing
• Valid driver's license preferred; may be asked to operate a district vehicle
• Bilingual abilities are a strong plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver classroom assistance to teachers and individualized support for students
• Work proactively in behavior intervention, applying de-escalation strategies as trained
• Manage documentation and communication as needed to support the instructional team
