Instructional Aide - Tilton, NH

Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience as a Paraprofessional, especially in a school setting
• Proven ability to manage and support students with behavioral needs
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive, proactive attitude
• Background working with elementary school children preferred
• Ability to implement individual education and behavioral plans as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers by assisting with lesson activities and reinforcing instruction
• Work one-on-one and in small groups with students who require behavioral support
• Help facilitate social, emotional, academic, and behavioral growth for students
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor student engagement, redirect behaviors, and report observations to the teaching team
• Assist with documentation and communication related to student plans and progress
• Support students with daily routines, transitions, and participation in school activities

You will work approximately 35 hours per week, giving you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and play a crucial role in student development throughout the school year.
