Instructional Assistant - Tilton, New Hampshire

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting 5th-8th grade students for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time paraprofessional position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting, working directly with students and educators over a 10-month schedule from August to June.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a related educational support role
• Passion for helping students succeed academically and socially
• Comfortable assisting with classroom management and small group activities
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to be flexible, reliable, and responsive to the needs of both students and teaching staff
• Experience with middle school grade levels (preferred but not required)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in daily instructional activities and classroom routines
• Provide individual and small group support to help students understand lesson material
• Adapt and implement educational resources for diverse learning needs
• Support behavioral and social goals under the direction of educators and specialized staff
• Help monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching teams
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment for 5th-8th grade learners
