Para Professional in Tilton, NH

Step into a meaningful role supporting student success as a Paraprofessional, serving both elementary and high school classrooms on a contract basis. Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar student support role preferred
• Comfort working with students across a variety of age groups and learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to foster supportive, encouraging relationships with students and teachers
• Flexible, adaptable, and calm under pressure
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on classroom support, working with teachers to reinforce lesson plans and activities for both individuals and small groups
• Assist students with assignments, classroom routines, and transitions throughout the school day
• Foster a positive environment that encourages learning, social development, and respectful behavior
• Help implement individualized plans and accommodations under teacher direction
• Support classroom organization, preparation of educational materials, and supervision of students during non-instructional times
• Encourage an inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported
