An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Paraprofessional to provide dedicated support in a 1:1 role with a student. This position is set to begin as soon as possible and is anticipated to extend through December 22, 2026, with the possibility of further extension. This assignment is connected to a maternity leave coverage and will give you the chance to make a measurable difference in a student’s school experience.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting
• Comfort and skill supporting individual students with unique needs
• Credentialed candidates are strongly preferred and will be prioritized in the hiring process
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Ability to adapt to the needs of students and the learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to an assigned student throughout the school day
• Assist with classroom activities, learning tasks, and social integration
• Implement teacher-developed strategies and plans to help the student succeed
• Monitor and document the student’s progress
• Support the student’s independence and engagement in academic and social activities
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure the student’s needs are met
