What you bring:

• At least 1 year of experience supporting students in a SPED (Special Education) classroom setting
• Genuine flexibility and the willingness to take on sub shifts as needed throughout the school year
• Comfort adapting to different caseloads and working with diverse student populations
• Ability to reliably commute to the Simi Valley area
• Professionalism, reliability, and a collaborative spirit

What you’ll do:

• Step in and provide paraprofessional support as a substitute in a variety of schools and classrooms
• Assist teachers and staff with daily instructional tasks and classroom management
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to promote their academic and social success
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all learners
• Maintain open communication with teachers, administrators, and staff to ensure student needs are met
