Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role is highly valued
• Ability to follow lesson plans and classroom routines as directed by lead teachers
• Strong communication skills for working with students, teachers, and staff
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to support diverse needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications preferred
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Basic computer proficiency

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in delivering instructional activities and classroom management
• Provide individual and small group support to students with varying needs
• Help create an inclusive, encouraging, and safe learning environment
• Support students with assignments, activities, and transitions throughout the school day
• Monitor student behavior and reinforce positive classroom expectations
• Prepare instructional materials and help with organization of classroom resources
• Assist with supervision during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional periods
