Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a paraprofessional or behavior aide in a school setting
  • Strong understanding of positive behavior intervention strategies
  • Ability to assist students with academic and social skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, compassion, and adaptability
  • High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree or completed paraprofessional testing preferred)
  • Willingness to undergo background checks as required by the district

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom instruction under teacher supervision
  • Implement behavioral intervention plans in partnership with educators and specialists
  • Provide individualized guidance and encouragement to students
  • Assist with classroom management and organization
  • Monitor student progress and share observations with the education team
