Instructional Aide - Wagoner, OK

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Paraprofessional in Okay, Oklahoma. Two positions are available for the upcoming school year, working with a dynamic group of children at the elementary level. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students ranging from PreK through 6th grade, including those with other health impairments, autism, learning disabilities, hearing impairments, and more severe needs. Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Oklahoma Paraprofessional Certification (OK PARA cert) mandatory
• Previous experience working in school, resource room, or general education settings preferred
• Comfort supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptability to work in different classroom environments as required

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in both the resource room and general education classrooms
• Provide individualized or small-group support to students, fostering engagement and progress
• Support students with a range of needs without toileting assistance required
• Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt materials and strategies for student success
• Maintain clear and respectful communication with students and staff
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere for learning

Contract Details & Perks:

• School year contract, August 3rd through May 20th
• Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week, with fewer Fridays worked (only 15 throughout the year) for improved work-life balance
