This contract position spans the school year from August 2026 through June 2027, with a consistent 32-hour workweek for a full-time experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current Educational Technician II or III certificate (required)
• Previous experience as a school-based paraprofessional or classroom assistant, preferably with K-5 or similar age group
• Strong communication skills and a positive outlook
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful environment
• Experience supporting life skills instruction is highly valued
• Ability to collaborate well within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in implementing individualized lesson plans
• Assist students with daily routines, academic tasks, and group activities
• Reinforce learning and foster social, emotional, and behavioral growth
• Provide one-on-one or small group intervention as needed
• Help maintain classroom organization and assist in tracking student progress
