Key Qualifications:

• Recent experience as a paraprofessional, ideally within a school setting
• Proven ability to support high school students, especially 9th and 10th graders
• Understanding of inclusive educational practices and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Adaptability and patience in dynamic classroom environments
• Ability to work effectively both in groups and with students individually

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist in the supervision and instruction of students under the guidance of teaching staff
• Support student engagement and participation in both group settings and 1:1 sessions
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and classroom modifications
• Foster positive social interactions and promote an inclusive atmosphere
• Track students’ progress and provide feedback to educators
• Contribute to lesson planning and classroom management as needed
