Your support will be pivotal in helping students access and succeed in virtual speech therapy services.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with students who have behavioral challenges
  • Ability and willingness to commute to Macon as needed
  • Previous paraprofessional experience in a school environment
  • Strong technology skills: comfortable with Microsoft Teams, email communication, downloading, and printing documents
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both students and colleagues

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Gather students receiving speech services and escort them to the virtual therapy setting
  • Supervise and assist during virtual therapy sessions, addressing any behavioral or technical needs
  • Act as the liaison and on-site support for the virtual speech therapist: logging students onto Teams, managing session materials, and coordinating communication
  • Complete online and paper documentation as directed, ensuring compliance with school or district policies
  • Maintain a positive and safe environment that encourages student focus and participation
