Transform students’ learning experiences by supporting a dynamic elementary school program as an Educational Technician (II or III). This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a daily impact in kindergarten through fifth grade classrooms, working alongside teachers and staff to foster growth and independence for students with varied life skill needs. The position is available from August 2026 through June 2027, with a consistent schedule of 32 hours per week.

Candidates will work directly with students on both classwork and life skills development, providing encouragement and adapting support to individual needs. This is an excellent match for a committed paraprofessional who values meaningful contributions and thrives on student progress in a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid II or III Paraprofessional/Educational Technician certificate (required)
  • Previous experience assisting K-5 students preferred
  • Familiarity with life skill-based curriculum strongly encouraged
  • Ability to build rapport with children, teachers, and parents
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students individually and in groups, helping them engage with a life skills-centered curriculum
  • Implement lesson plans as developed by certified teachers, reinforcing and adapting learning strategies as needed
  • Provide direct support for students’ academic and social development in classroom and community settings
  • Monitor and track student progress, sharing observations with teachers and related staff
  • Foster an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes students’ independence
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold the standards and policies of the school
