Support the educational growth of a middle school student as a 1:1 ASD Paraprofessional. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a real difference in a student's school experience, providing individualized assistance for a student who requires accommodations and is not able to read or write. You’ll work closely with educators and support staff to help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a Paraprofessional in school settings
• Prior experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum (ASD) is required
• Comfortable supporting students who are non-readers and non-writers
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers and support teams
• Patience, empathy, and creativity in adapting learning strategies
• Ability to follow education plans and implement accommodations effectively

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide full-time, one-on-one support to a middle school student in all classroom and school activities
• Implement and adapt strategies as outlined in the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
• Assist with communication needs and facilitate social engagement
• Help the student manage transitions and participate in both instructional and non-instructional settings
• Collaborate with educational staff to track progress and provide feedback
• Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging classroom atmosphere at all times
