Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in a school setting as a paraprofessional or similar role
• Familiarity with elementary education environments, specifically supporting 4th grade students
• Ability to work respectfully and effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members
• Strong communication skills and reliability
• Adaptable and patient, with a genuine interest in helping children succeed

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 support to a 4th grade student, assisting with assignments, classroom participation, and routine tasks
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement individualized educational plans
• Encourage student independence while offering needed guidance
• Monitor progress and report observations to the appropriate staff
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
