Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Paraprofessional certification or relevant experience in school environments
• Demonstrated experience with behavior support or behavior intervention plans
• Passion for working with young students, particularly those in Pre-K
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to follow guidance from lead teachers and other educational staff
• Patience, empathy, and creativity in problem-solving

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to a PK student with behavioral needs throughout the school day
• Implement strategies from individualized behavior intervention plans
• Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and any personal care requirements
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education teams, and school staff
• Foster a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere to facilitate student progress
• Adapt support as directed, under the supervision of educators and specialists
