Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or working with children in schools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow educational plans and support teachers effectively
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable to students’ diverse needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or a related field is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer direct support to students individually or in small groups, fostering engagement in classroom activities
• Assist lead teachers with instructional tasks, classroom management, and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) when necessary
• Help maintain a positive and organized classroom environment
• Support students with special needs, ensuring inclusion and accessibility
• Supervise students during transitions, lunchtime, and other activities throughout the day
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an enriching environment for all learners
