Key Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a paraprofessional or directly related role in educational settings
• Paraprofessional Certification OR an Associate’s degree (or 60 college credits) or higher
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work both 1:1 with students and support general classroom instruction
• Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal care as needed
• Familiarity with following IEP (Individualized Education Program) and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) guidelines

Role Highlights:

• Work directly with individual students, helping them achieve IEP goals while building meaningful relationships
• Provide classroom support by assisting lead teachers in daily instruction, group activities, and supervision
• Offer additional guidance and encouragement for students as they participate in educational and social experiences
• Assist with classroom management and ensure a safe, supportive learning environment
• Serve as a compassionate resource for students’ personal care needs when necessary
