Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with lead teachers and supervisors in classroom activities.
• Provide 1:1 support to special education students as outlined in their PPT and IEP.
• Assist in the supervision and instruction of students, adapting to individual educational plans.
• Support students with daily needs, which may include assistance with toileting.
• Foster an environment of encouragement, safety, and inclusion for all.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous paraprofessional or relatable experience is required.
• Possess a Paraprofessional Certification OR an Associate’s degree (or a minimum of 60 college credits).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and flexible approach.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain confidentiality, and handle challenges in a positive manner.
• Demonstrated commitment to supporting students with special needs.
