Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in schools as a Paraprofessional or classroom assistant
- Comfortable supporting students in Grades K–5, 6–8, or 9–12
- Special education and/or behavioral support experience highly valued
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Adaptability to meet the unique needs of diverse learners
- Ability to start as soon as possible and commit through the end of the school year
Daily Responsibilities:
- Foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment for all students
- Work closely with teachers to implement individualized education or behavior plans
- Provide direct support to students—either one-on-one or within classrooms
- Assist with classroom management, redirection, and academic tasks
- Support social-emotional growth and positive student behavior
- Adapt to evolving classroom needs and collaborate with faculty and families
