Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in schools as a Paraprofessional or classroom assistant
  • Comfortable supporting students in Grades K–5, 6–8, or 9–12
  • Special education and/or behavioral support experience highly valued
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Adaptability to meet the unique needs of diverse learners
  • Ability to start as soon as possible and commit through the end of the school year

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment for all students
  • Work closely with teachers to implement individualized education or behavior plans
  • Provide direct support to students—either one-on-one or within classrooms
  • Assist with classroom management, redirection, and academic tasks
  • Support social-emotional growth and positive student behavior
  • Adapt to evolving classroom needs and collaborate with faculty and families
