Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Experience working as a paraprofessional in educational settings, preferably in K–12 grades
  • Special education and/or behavioral support experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to build rapport with students and collaborate with teachers and staff
  • Adaptability in classroom and individualized support environments
  • Strong communication skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assistance to students in grade levels K–12, according to assigned classroom or individualized needs
  • Implement teacher-directed instructional and behavioral support programs
  • Assist with daily classroom routines and activities
  • Foster inclusion and engagement for students with diverse learning needs
  • Track student progress and report feedback to teaching staff
  • Support the creation of a positive and productive learning environment
