Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Patience and flexibility in handling diverse student needs
• Basic understanding of classroom management techniques
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or related certifications is a plus
• Ability to follow directions from lead teachers and adapt to various learning situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in daily classroom activities and instruction
• Support students individually or in small groups, reinforcing lesson content and fostering understanding
• Help monitor classroom behavior, encouraging positive interactions and a safe environment
• Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom organization
• Support students with special needs according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Supervise students in various settings, such as classrooms, hallways, and outdoor spaces
