Classroom Aide | Waverly, New York

Take on a rewarding opportunity supporting students in an educational environment as a Teacher's Assistant or Teacher's Aide in a classroom setting. This contract role offers consistent hours (30 per week) with placements available as soon as possible and running through June 2027. Be a key support for a student's day-to-day progress, working 1:1 to facilitate classroom engagement and growth.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working in preschool, school, or behavioral settings
• Teacher's Assistants must hold a valid NY Teacher's Assistant Certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with educators and staff
• Reliability and the ability to commit to a long-term assignment
• Passion for helping students meet their goals in an inclusive environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, individualized support to one student within the classroom, helping to implement curriculum and behavioral goals
• Assist with classroom activities and promote a positive, engaging learning space
• Work alongside teachers to modify assignments or classroom strategies to suit individual needs
• Monitor student progress and provide consistent feedback to the classroom teacher
• Support a safe and nurturing environment for all students
