What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of one year of paraprofessional experience
• High school diploma required; associate’s degree or 48+ college credits is a plus
• If you don’t have a paraprofessional certificate or qualifying college credits, you must be willing to obtain a paraprofessional certificate within 60 days of hire
• Strong interpersonal skills with an encouraging, patient approach
• Experience supporting students with life skills needs preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment alongside teachers, specialists, and school staff

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Support classroom instruction, helping students engage in life skills activities
• Assist with daily routines, academic tasks, and behavior management as needed
• Foster a safe, positive environment for all learners
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to adapt materials and instruction
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold all school and district policies
