Make a difference every day by providing essential support to students in a dynamic school setting. This contract, full-time position starts as soon as possible and continues through June 12, 2026. Ideal candidates are passionate about working with K-12 students, especially those with special education needs and behavior challenges. You’ll play a vital role in classroom management, 1:1 student services, and promoting positive student outcomes, all onsite in a welcoming, inclusive learning environment. With three openings available, qualified candidates may be prioritized for immediate onboarding.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience supporting students in school-based settings.
- Comfortable with K-12 caseloads including special and behavioral needs.
- Able to assist with toileting/diapering, educational support, behavioral management, and changing needs.
- Experience with elopement issues and implementing 1:1 student interventions.
- Willingness to work in an urban school environment.
- Must have a high school diploma and current CPR certification (support provided if needed).
- Possession or ability to obtain PA clearances.
- Reliable transportation and availability for a full-time, onsite schedule.
- Strong references required.
- Open to Zoom interviews.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group support to students as directed by supervising teachers.
- Assist with classroom management, redirection, and behavioral strategies.
- Provide 1:1 service tailored to students’ IEPs and unique needs.
- Support students with physical or emotional needs, including toileting and hygiene.
- Partner with staff to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with team members and administration.
