Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in special education or behavioral support roles
• Background in supporting students with autism spectrum disorder and behavioral needs, ranging from mild to more significant challenges
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable, with strong communication skills
• Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal care as needed
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent 1:1 support to assigned students and assist within small classroom settings
• Implement individualized behavioral and academic plans, collaborating with classroom teachers and therapists
• Assist students in self-care, including toileting support when necessary
• Encourage positive behavioral interventions and help promote social-emotional development
• Document student progress and communicate regularly with the educational team
