Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role in a school setting
• Understanding of strategies for assisting students with social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Ability to build rapport and maintain positive working relationships with students and school staff
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability to adjust approaches as student needs evolve
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor in all interactions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 support to a student with social-emotional and behavioral needs
• Implement individualized strategies and interventions under the guidance of certified educators and specialists
• Assist with classroom activities, promote appropriate behaviors, and encourage participation in learning
• Communicate observations and progress to teachers and related staff
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for student growth and success
• Remain flexible and responsive to the changing needs of the student and school team

This onsite position offers a steady weekday schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
