Key Qualifications:

• Experience working as a school paraprofessional or in a similar support role
• Ability to communicate effectively and patiently with students with varying abilities
• Comfortable assisting with personal care, mobility, and hands-on daily activities
• Adaptable approach and willingness to learn new strategies for supporting students who are blind, deaf, or have other special needs
• Strong sense of empathy and dedication to inclusive education

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement learning and support plans
• Provide consistent, individualized assistance throughout the school day
• Support the student in classroom activities, social interactions, and transitions
• Help facilitate communication and accessibility for the student as needed
• Maintain clear, respectful boundaries and confidentiality at all times
