We’re seeking candidates with school-based experience and a commitment to empowering learners with individualized needs for a contract position during the 2026-2027 academic year. The upcoming roles offer the rewarding opportunity to work one-on-one with exceptional students, helping them navigate daily routines and participate fully in school life.

Role A involves partnering with a high school student in a Life Skills program—providing consistent support, fostering structure, and using positive behavioral strategies to promote safety and learning. Comfort working with students exhibiting maximum behaviors and an understanding of autism spectrum needs are vital.

Role B is perfect for those who enjoy hands-on engagement, assisting a student with classroom materials and organization, and accompanying them between school sites, including riding the bus.

Role C entails personalized caregiving for a first-grade child with cerebral palsy, including feeding, repositioning, assisting with schoolwork, and personal hygiene care.

Desired Qualifications:

• Demonstrated school/paraprofessional experience
• Proactive, adaptable, and calm under pressure
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience working 1:1 with students who have significant behavioral or physical needs
• Understanding of routines, safety procedures, and support strategies in a school setting
• Willingness to provide personal care (as needed in Role C)
• Flexibility with schedules and assignments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, consistent support to assigned students
• Collaborate with educators and school staff
• Maintain clear documentation and effective communication
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students at all times
• Reinforce positive behaviors and classroom engagement

This contract opportunity is full-time, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week, from August 21, 2026 to June 4, 2027. Compensation is competitive and reflects the importance of your contribution.
