In this contract role, you’ll play a vital part by assisting a Speech-Language Pathologist on maternity leave, helping to ensure students continue to receive the services and support they need. This full-time opportunity offers rewarding, hands-on experience in a modern educational setting, starting as soon as possible and running through November 11th, 2026.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Associate’s degree or at least 60 completed credit hours required
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or working alongside students in a school setting preferred
- Comfort with technology and supporting virtual instruction
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Flexibility and a collaborative spirit
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist during a maternity leave assignment by helping manage sessions and student activities online
- Support students’ educational and social-emotional needs as directed by the SLP and school staff
- Prepare and organize materials for sessions, monitor student engagement, and document progress
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere to encourage learning and participation
- Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and families to address student goals
Please note that this placement depends on the successful recruitment of a maternity leave SLP, as you’ll be part of a coordinated support plan.
