Make a meaningful impact assisting students in a supportive educational environment as a paraprofessional working alongside a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This contract opportunity spans a maternity leave assignment and offers the chance to collaborate closely with both students and educators, helping to foster growth and communication skills.

Key Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or at least 60 completed college credit hours required
• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a school environment is preferred
• Comfortable with technology and virtual collaboration tools
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Adaptable, patient, and able to support students with varying needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist the Virtual SLP in daily sessions and activities, both in individual and group formats
• Support students in accessing and navigating virtual lessons and therapeutic exercises
• Help maintain student engagement, provide feedback, and facilitate participation
• Document progress and observations as requested by the SLP and school staff
• Collaborate with teachers and other team members to implement individualized learning and therapy plans
• Flexibly address changing needs as required throughout the assignment
