Instructional Assistant - Willoughby, Ohio

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional in school settings preferred
• ESEA Certification required (active or pending status accepted)
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with students, educators, and families
• Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and student needs
• Genuine interest in supporting the social, emotional, and academic growth of children

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering instructional activities, providing one-on-one or small group support to students
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued
• Support students with individualized education plans and adapt materials as needed
• Help maintain classroom order and safety, supervising students during class and transitions
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to maximize student engagement and learning outcomes
• Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and other educational tasks as assigned
