Key Qualifications:

• Valid Delaware Paraeducator Permit in hand (applications in process cannot be accepted; please attach evidence via a screenshot from the DEEDS portal)
• Willingness and ability to complete $85 CBC fingerprinting as required
• At least some classroom or related paraprofessional support experience
• Ability to adapt to a variety of school environments (elementary, middle, and high school)
• Flexibility to cover assignments at different sites based on need, with attendance reliability
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Professionalism and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
• RBTs are welcome to apply but must secure their own BCBA supervision; title and compensation will align with paraprofessional status

Position Details & Responsibilities:

• Provide flexible paraprofessional support (“floating”) across assigned school sites throughout the week
• Collaborate with lead teachers and support staff to implement lesson plans, adapt activities, and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Support students’ learning, engagement, and safety onsite at designated locations
• Adhere to school schedules (ranging from 7:05am–3:40pm depending on building)
• Guarantee of 30 hours paid weekly when school is in session M-F, even if not called in every day
• Weekly assignments may vary and are based on coverage needs; flexibility is essential
