This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Paraprofessional or Personal Care Assistant with a genuine passion for empowering learners with diverse needs. You’ll collaborate with educators to provide essential support to a small group of students with IEPs integrated into the general classroom, creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere each day.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional, PCA, or in a similar support role within an educational setting
• Flexibility and comfort supporting students with toileting and personal care needs
• Familiarity with implementing accommodations and modifications for students with IEPs (Individualized Education Plans)
• Ability to foster positive relationships and encourage independence for students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
• Reliable and professional, with a strong sense of responsibility and compassion

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide daily academic and personal assistance to students, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Support students within general education classrooms and help adapt materials or activities as needed
• Assist with organization, transitions, and personal care tasks as required
• Communicate regularly with teaching staff regarding students’ progress and needs
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold all school and district protocols
• Demonstrate flexibility and a commitment to each student’s dignity and success

This contract runs Monday through Friday, from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027, with hours from 8:40 AM to 3:33 PM. You’ll be working in a supportive environment where your contributions directly help students thrive.
