What we’re looking for:

• Valid paraprofessional certification in the state of Georgia.
• Previous experience as a paraprofessional is a plus but not required.
• Ability to engage effectively and compassionately with students with diverse needs.
• Flexibility to provide both general classroom support and 1:1 assistance as needed.
• Willingness to work closely with teaching staff to implement individualized and group support strategies.
• Readiness to assist with classroom management, including supporting students who may have behavioral challenges.
• Professionalism and patience in dynamic and sometimes fast-paced settings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

What you’ll do:

• Support adapted, self-contained classrooms by assisting with daily instruction and classroom activities.
• Collaborate directly with SPED teachers to deliver quality support for all students.
• Provide targeted 1:1 assistance as assigned throughout the school day.
• Participate in maintaining a structured, safe, and positive learning environment.
• Help implement individualized plans and behavior management strategies as guided by staff.
• Encourage student independence, social skills, and academic progress.
