Make a real impact supporting students as a Behavior Support Provider in a dynamic school setting near Windsor, VT. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, running from late August to mid-June, and offers the chance to be part of an innovative, rebuilding behavior program led by a new district supervisor. Multiple positions are available across elementary, middle, and high school levels, providing professional variety and career growth.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience as a Paraprofessional, RBT, or working with ABA principles in educational settings
- Passion for supporting students with behavioral needs and fostering positive change
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and work collaboratively with BCBAs and educational staff
- Excellent communication and adaptability in a school environment
- Preference for individuals comfortable with both new program development and established strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral support to students across multiple grade levels
- Implement ABA strategies and data collection under supervision
- Collaborate with district BCBA and, where applicable, receive outside BCBA supervision (especially for RBTs)
- Contribute feedback as the behavior program undergoes pilot projects throughout the year
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting student growth and safety
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized behavior support planning
