Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instructional support for Pre-K students
• Assist with classroom routines, daily transitions, and behavior management
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to implement learning and behavior plans
• Support personal care, communication, and developmental milestones as needed
• Maintain thorough records of students’ progress and communicate observations to the educational team
• Help create a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for all students

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hold or be eligible for Maine Ed Tech III certification
• Previous experience working with young children, ideally in an early childhood or school-based setting
• Experience supporting students with special education needs is advantageous
• Strong collaboration skills, a commitment to positive classroom management, and clear communication abilities
