Desired Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and students.

• Flexibility to support students with diverse needs in various classroom settings.
• Ability to follow individualized education plans (IEPs) under teacher supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support, reinforcing lessons and assisting students with assignments.
• Help facilitate a positive, inclusive environment by encouraging participation and respectful behavior.
• Assist in implementing educational strategies tailored to individual learning styles.
• Supervise students during class activities, transitions, and lunch/recess as needed.
• Offer one-on-one or small group support to help students meet learning objectives.
• Support teachers in monitoring student progress and maintaining classroom organization.
